Chic, chic, chic, chic, chickens.......

Hiya

I've not got much to show you in the way of crafting I'm afraid. I've been working hard on my Christmas swap parcels and I'm pleased to say that they are now all finished most of them have been gratefully received.

My weekend as usual has been taken up with housework and the weekly mucking out of the chickens. who, thanks to a break in the horrible wet and windy weather were able to get out into the garden today. That meant that I was able to get a couple of half decent pic's of them to share with you.

although it seems they don't like posing for the camera because I ended up with this...........

Hmmmmmmmm Nice bum's girls lol.
I can't believe how much they've grown in the short space of time that we've had them.
Hubby Say's " hu I just wish they'd give us an egg" hehehehe.
So chic, chic, chic, chic, chickens PLEASE , PLEASE, lay a little egg for me !!!! lol.
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I'm off to wrap up a few more Christmas presents.

Very cute. I thought you needed a daddy chicken to get eggs???? Am I being really stupid?? Glad you have had some good weather this weekend. It has been rubbish here.

Ok now, I think I should have listened a bit more carefully in biology. No, I thought you got more eggs if there was a daddy chicken around. Though they are noisy and don't think you would be very popular. Thankyou though for my lesson in chickens. lol.

You have chickens??? That made me smile...My sis Kate has some too but I pictured you in a flat somewhere...I don't know why...but I did!

You are so sweet for reading all my posts today! I didn't like all of them so I kept trying to put up one I actually liked on top :) So I ended up with a whole mess of them! Much about nothing :)

I hope you had a nice weekend with your boys...now I will have to work on building a different picture of you so far across the world~with chickens :) It just amazes my mond that you are over on the other side of the world & yet I only have to sit here & you can read this a few second later.

Well it is late here 10 so I think I am gonna turn in early...never know what Bo has planned for me tomorrow...he was quite the handful today (overflowing sinks, cotton balls, bathsalts, & a hand held vanity mirror as a spoon to stir it all up...Nanna was not to happy:) Good thing he is a grand kid or she would have been down right mad :) Like I always say...Little Rascal! I am sure you understand...you have a boy :)

You will love it when you get your first egg! I remember the first time I went out to my chicken coop and found a blue, pink, and green egg just sitting there. It was like finding an Easter basket. I love every egg I get although my chickens aren't laying right now because of the lack of daylight hours.
