Introducing ....... and forgiving....

Hiya How are we all today? Have we all had a good week?

I managed to get a few chicken'y photo's the other day and although they're not great photo's I thought I'd share them with you anyway because my two new little feathered friends are just dying to meet you lol.

So without further delay I would like to introduce.............

Henrietta (Hetty for short)
And

Kate
( sorry Kate no offence intended hehehe)
( oh and Libbie you should stop laughing now I might just decide to buy another one hehehe)
Poor Kate would normally be mostly white with a touch of black but unfortunately we went through a bit of bullying when we first introduced them and we ended up having to spray her with an anti pecking spray which seemed to turn her an amusing shade of orange / brown. Hopefully it will ware off hehehe.

So as you can see my tiny little bit of " the good life" is coming along nicely.

I'm sure some of you may have noticed that there are only three hen's in the last picture and your sure that I now have four... Right .... Well Yes you are right but whilst I was trying desperately hard to get a decent photo of the little darlings, Lola decided she would sneak away to make me a little present.

Do you wanna go take a look ?........................

OK then but we'll have to be quiet !!!!!!

Lola I do forgive you for walking out on my little photo shoot because ...........

well because ..................

Without all the little presents that you girls leave us we wouldn't be able to make................

All the lovely treats we like to eat.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend
(((hugs)))

Hey Karen,
I am pretending that she really is named after me.LOL... I love chickens and I will graciously rub it into Lib's face that I have a chicken named after me and she doesn't... (Much better a chicken than say, a water buffalo...) Love your sweet lady friends, have great fun gathering those eggs. And we need to see your new chicken palace that hubby built!!!

Oh, I have loved seeing your little chickens. Well done you clever girls laying all those beautiful eggs. (Don't suppose they post very well????? Heehee)
Well, you have had to do a lot of baking I see. Maybe that is what I need, a couple of chucks. Whenever I get round to baking We have no eggs. That reminds me....I was going to do some with the twins tomorrow. I am off to check.
Take care

Hi Karen
Thanks once again for your comments. How am I today? Thick with a cold, actually. Yuk! Still it's the first one I've had for a couple of years so can't complain. Quiet day for me today. You've certainly been busy baking - it all looks so tasty (except that I can't taste anything at the moment..)
Have a lovely weekend
Janet
