So If any of you lovely ladies would like to offer a home to this little bundle then just leave a comment on this post and I'll have one of the men folk pick out a name next sunday.

Brilliant post back there Karen, some very similar thoughts we share. To be honest, for me, and I appreciate is a personal thing, but for me, all craft and no play makes for me, a dull day, I am one of those readers who likes a little of the gritty stuff, I want to know a little, even if only a glimpse now and then about the person I am reading about, so would love to hear more about you in your blog :)

Hugs

ooohhh yes please.... I know I don't need any more wool but I could really do with it for the new knitting group. I can't afford to buy loads of wool for everyone :) x

Could I be included too? Happy to split with others.

Am learning to knit and the ultimate aim is a blanket of squares - at the moment it might just keep a barbie warm!!

Hello there Karen. I'd love to be considered for your givaway. As you can see from my brand new blog, I knit hand puppets for charity and the wool would go to a very good cause, making a Christmas gifts for children who otherwise would have very little. I've also just taught myself to crochet and plan to make more little gifts once I get up to speed.

Thanks for offering this giveaway xx

Hello again Karen
Thank you so much for becoming my first follower. You are right, it is nice to have people comment on your blog. Still keeping my fingers crossed for the giveaway - the fluffy white wool would make a perfect snowman, the soft pink a lovely cuddly kitten puppet for a little girl and the coloured bobbly stuff too. Peach is always useful for little puppet faces and the bright red will bring a bright smile to some child's face. But I'm getting ahead of myself, sorry! Thanks once again for following.

oh I would love to have this little bundle......... in the second week of Feb I am joining a little group that meets for 2 hours once a week in the 150 year old pub just 500 yards from my little cottage.... the pub is technically closed until lunch time but they allow this mix group to use the pub until it opens...... what am I joining I hear you ask...... the group is called 'bitch and knit' :) and Im hoping that they will teach me how to crochet in return for me teaching some how to knit :).... so, the yarn would be great....
