Sorry no crafting tonight

Hiya
I've had no time for crafting tonight I've spent all evening listing, selling and packing item's for ebay. I still have loads to list and I'm determined that I'm gonna make me some penny's for the bath and west next month.
Hopefully I'll have something productive to show you tomorrow night.

I've found it

Hiya
Just took a look at a few blogs and found the person who had made the beer mat note holders before me.

Here's the link

Thanks hunni It's a great Idea and I enjoyed doing it.

altered beer mats

Hiya

Whilst blog hopping the other day I saw little note holder someone had made out of a square beer mat and just had to give it a try ( not sure where I saw it but if anyone knows please let me know so I can give credit where it's due)

Anyway here's my version on an altered beer mat.

I painted the beer mat with lilac paint (2 coats), Then stamped penny black images with stazon and watercoloured with h2o's. Then I added those cute little clips I got from wilkinsons the other day and decorated with a small strip of ribbon and a flower brad.

What do ya think ???

I'm trying to raise some cash ready to go to the craft show at the bath and west next month so I've had a bit of a clear out and listed some stuff on ebay. I've still got loads to list but Just gonna do a bit at a time.

I thought I might try my hand at selling stamped images and die cut's whilst I was there so fingers crossed and let's see what happens.

If anyone's interested in taking a look then here's where to find me

River's coat hook

Hiya

I've managed to finish off a few projects that I had half done this week and here's the first. It's a coat hook for river.

It started life as a plain wood coat hook. I gave it a couple of coates of paint then decorated it with die cut letters kindly cut by a friend from dc (thanks hunni) and some metalic red and silver stars. Then finally a couple of coats of clear varnish.

K& co meets dufex

Hiya

Here's a birthday card I've made for my sister in law.

I have Used k &co papers for the backing. Then I added a length of cotton ribbon across the card. I Then matted and layered the dufex image using my new x cut templates and fixed it to the right hand side of the card using sticky foam pads to give it a little depth. I then punched out a few flower shapes out of matching cardstock , embelished them with clear gems and fixed them along the ribbon with sticky foam pad's again to give it some depth. I then added a happy birthday peel off in a complimentary text just to finish it off.

Scrapbooking but a bit different

I wanted to do something a bit different with my holiday pic's this time. So here it is.

I started off with a plain chipboard frame.

Painted it with chocolate acrylic paint then left to dry

Stamped over the top with a background stamp and gold ink.

Fixed Complimentary paper into the frame.

Cut and stuck my piccie's

Stamped the wording in the gap's.
